For seven decades, Abraham Lincoln High School has provided Brooklyn students with a challenging, safe environment. Our diversity of 60 nationalities, 28 languages, and our wonderful blend of ethnicity, makes Lincoln a stimulating school in which students flourish. Last year, our students were awarded $4.6 million in scholarships: 84% of the graduates attend post-secondary schools. Students enjoy a rigorous core curriculum with Advance Placement courses in nearly every discipline. Tutoring is also available for students in need. The caring environment enables the good student to excel and all students to reach their full potential. In addition, we also offer a wonderful program for student life. Lincoln is now organized into small learning communities, where all students enter into the Ninth Grade Academy, where a strong foundation for high school expectations is stressed. Students then enter an upper academy for grades 10 - 12. The academies are Math Science, Business - Humanities and Fine Arts and Sports and Fitness. All students are given the opportunity to excel in required coursework and them-based electives.
